IBM, an American multinational information technology company, officially made a partnership with Dubai for the blockchain platform project.
The platform that Dubai is developing is using LinuxOne which could manage more than 6 billion transactions in a day.
Dubai Pay Blockchain Settlement and Reconciliation System is the first project with LinuxOne, It will make the transaction from government institutions or financial institutions which take 45 days to confirm simultaneously.
Then why does Dubai implement blockchain technology?
1. The completion of Government without papers
All kinds of documents like Application of Visa, Tax payment, Renewal of the license will be replaced into digital format.
5.5 billion dollars of the budget could be saved just by adopting this system which does not require the paper anymore.
