Josh Duggar Should Have Been In Prison Nearly 20 Years Ago, But Monsters Protect Each Other
He has a long history of sexually and physically harming others
“This was not rape or anything like that,” Jim Bob Duggar said.
Just after 10:00 am on Thursday, December 9th, a federal jury in Fayetteville, Arkansas, found 33-year-old Josh Duggar guilty on two child pornography counts: one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. When he is sentenced in four months, Josh Duggar may spend up to 20 years in prison, along with fines of up to $250,000 for each of the two counts.
It was a unanimous verdict on both counts.
After the verdict was read, the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas Clay Fowlkes said:
“This verdict sends the message that these cases are a top priority for our office,” Fowlkes said. “This verdict also demonstrates that no person is above the law. Regardless of wealth, social status, or fame, our office will continue to seek out all individuals who seek to abuse children and victimize them through the downloading, possession, and sharing of child pornography.”
