But what about mercy (and justice) for his many child victims?

Listen, I get the importance of protecting your kids, even when they are grown, BUT it’s a whole other ballgame when your child is committing criminal acts — especially criminal sex acts against children.

Remember that back in December of 2021, Josh Duggar was convicted of “receiving and possessing child porn” and is facing up to 20 years in prison at his upcoming sentencing.

This is on top of the sexual assaults he committed as a teen and never faced legal consequences for because of his parents ‘protection.’

In April of 2022, Michelle Duggar sent a letter to the judge handling Josh’s sentencing asking for ‘mercy.’

…Where is the mercy for his victims who deserve justice?…

In that letter, Michelle wrote:

Joshua has a tender heart and he is compassionate toward others.

Sure, Michelle.
I’m sure his victims would agree with this character assessment 100%.

I mean, why not? It’s not like victims of childhood sexual assault deal with lifelong trauma.

Oh wait, they do deal with the impacts of their childhood sexual trauma for the rest of their lives.
