Let’s see what a daily dose of collagen will do! Improved Joint Health, Skin, Hair & Nails? I hope so!🤞I’ll be taking a collagen supplement that contains a blend of 5 different types of collagen, vitamins and a lot of other awesome stuff that’s going to make me look & feel younger! Sounds awesome! Let’s do this!

Day One — I drank it! I did it! I was nervous, but it tasted good!! The first drink I took, I searched for weirdness and found it. Like a “mediciney” punch…but after a few more sips, the refreshing Tropical Punch flavor kicked in more. By the end of my first glass, I was like Ok…I can totally do this! And suddenly I was looking forward to trying it again. Even my son kept trying to get it from me, saying yummy! 😆

Day Two — I woke up, went to the restroom then hit up the kitchen and my husband asked…how are your knees feeling? I said Wow, I hadn’t even thought about them. But now that you mention it…they still hurt! 😂

I drank it in the evening and noticed that it kept me full! It has 5 grams of protein and less than a gram of carbs! 👍 My husband says it smells and tastes like Jell-O!

Backstory — I’ve struggled with knee pain since I was very young. My knees used to dislocate and over the years I’ve developed arthritis, which runs in my family. I was formally diagnosed when I was 38 and had lots of X-ray evidence of damage. So now at almost 41…my knee pain has increased considerably. It’s way worse that it was a few years ago, so that made me start worrying about the next 5 years.

I started looking into options and was researching hyaluronic acid knee injections when I learned about the collagen I’m taking now. That’s what sparked my interest and curiosity, so I started this 30 day challenge for myself to see if it makes a difference.

It usually takes me a few minutes to get out of bed in the morning. Everything hurts and I’m just slow. I feel like I’m walking in slow motion or quick sand and it feels like there are knives in my knees when I step. Once I get moving though, I start to loosen up a little. I stretch and keep moving all day and then it starts to get bad again towards the evening.

I’m hoping this helps ease some of my aches and pain, but looking younger and having better hair & nails would be nice too! 😉

Day Three — I woke up and went to the kitchen and thought to myself Am I Tripping?!?!? I seriously just got up and moved! It didn’t take me forever! I’m still achey and in pain, but I moved much easier! It’s a start! I’m definitely keeping this up! Cheers! 🍹

Today I added it to some Green Tea I had in the fridge. It was good!! It was a little bit too sweet so I added water and filled it all the way to the top of the glass and it was perfect! I can see it being great in Unsweetened Tea as well! 👍

Day Four— I normally don’t wear much make-up, but I didn’t wear any today. After a long day, I was checking myself out in the mirror and thought “Hey my skin doesn’t look too bad!” 🤔Nothing dramatic, but good…enough to make me run and drink my day 4 dose of collagen! 😉

I made it with tea again today and drank it after dinner. I love that you can take it any time of day. Some are using it as a post-workout protein, others as a sweet drink after a meal and some drink it right before bedtime to allow the vitamins, minerals and collagen proteins and peptides to replenish and renew overnight.

I’m also noticing that my knees don’t feel as swollen as usual. I’ll be taking pics along to the way to compare.

Day Five — Today I definitely noticed a difference in my skin. It’s softer, my cheeks aren’t as red as they usually are and when I woke up, my skin looked like I had already applied lotion! I guess that’s called hydrated! 😆I really didn’t expect to see a change soon.

I’ve gotten a few questions about what’s in it, so I’ll post the ingredients here.

Day 6 — Today I took it with me! I added it to a cold water bottle and shook it up and it was perfect! I really liked it this way! I don’t know why I haven’t done it before! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I drank it pretty quick but I was able to take it with me in the car when I left on some errands. Collagen on the go! 👍

Day Seven — I ran today! Briefly, but it totally counts! I was playing with my son, he had a water gun and I fully ran around and he squealed and chased me. I haven’t been able to do that at all this past year. I hurt now, but whatever, it was fun! 😆 Today I will be replenishing and renewing overnight…I think I’m gonna need it! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Here’s my 7 day mugshot! I can see some slight differences. I can’t wait till Day 30!! 🤗

Day 8–11: I’ve continued to notice a difference in the amount of joint stiffness and achiness I experience in the morning. I’m still seeing positive changes with my skin. The texture has improved, the bags under my eyes are lighter, the creases in my forehead are diminishing. My skin is softer all over, not just my face. The past two days I’ve been noticing a difference in my hair. It’s combing nicely and has a bit more shine and volume. My husband said, “Your hair looks good, it’s not flat like it usually is.” 😉Thanks CollagenWorks! 😆

So after 11 full days I am seriously impressed with this. I’m excited to continue! This is the best collagen powder out there!
