Grace is now live on Base

We’re thrilled to announce the guarded launch of Grace protocol on Base mainnet.

During the guarded launch, the Grace web interface will remain accessible only to whitelisted participants at app.grace.loans.

The protocol is also under strict deposit limits on the contract level. These restrictions will be lifted as soon as Grace is sufficiently tested in prod.

The goal of the guarded launch will be to stress test the safety features of Grace at a small scale. Risk parameters such as collateral factors will be pushed to their limits in order to trigger the liquidation and debt write-off features of the protocol.

This stress test is necessary to ensure future resilience of the protocol under extreme conditions. The stress test may also result in some loss of depositors’ funds in the process. Do not deposit funds into Grace during the guarded launch unless you are comfortable with this possibility.

Supported assets

The following assets are supported by Grace at launch. More will be added over the coming days.

Lendable/Borrowable assets

• USDC $10K deposit limit
• DOLA: $10K deposit limit

Collateral assets

• ETH: $10K deposit limit | 90% collateral factor
• AERO: $10K deposit limit | 80% collateral factor

The deposit limits above will be ramped up over the next few days.

GTR issuance

GTR is now being streamed to lenders at a rate of 1000 GTR per year evenly split among USDC and DOLA suppliers. This is a conservative emission rate which will be raised over time.

Security

Grace has been externally audited by Hacken. However, audits do not guarantee safety. Only deposit what you can afford to lose.

Technical users are encouraged to read the Grace contract source code and report any potential bugs to our team. Grace contracts are now publicly available on Github. To report a bug, please visit our the Security page on our docs.

Join the whitelist

As soon as the guarded launch is complete, the Grace app will become accessible to everyone. However, if you’re looking to try Grace during the guarded launch, please let us know on Discord.
