The Body Remembers, Everything

Wasn’t going to post about this today. Figured there would be ample content and many whose stories were…

The End

A New Beginning

It seems fitting that today, on Father’s Day, I bring this series to a close. After missing a day a few weeks back and, in the spirit of authenticity and honesty starting the day count over, and since that time finding myself struggling, I came to a realization.

Day 12

Bounty

It’s Friday… Which means it was time for my weekly visit to the downtown third Street farmers market. As usual it…

Day 11

Happy

I spent a few hours tonight in the company of the most people that I’ve been around in months. It was to celebrate a friend’s birthday — a properly socially distanced gathering, held outside at my private dog park. It was heavenly. Though there was no hugging and masks were worn…

Day 10

Grateful

… for so many things.

  • Friends who offer their wisdom with not a hesitation

Day 7

Odd Pride

So weird. It’s Pride month. While the Pride festivities in Las Vegas don’t take place until the Fall, this is the month, commemorating the Stonewall Riots over 50 years ago, when most of the world wraps itself in rainbow flags.

Day 6

Where is Home?

Is it, as they say, where the heart is? What does that mean, anyway? Charting a course for a journey to a place that held my heart for a long time. Does it still? I was pretty bruised when I left so who’s to say.

Day 5

Brilliant

It happened. Tonight I ate out in a restaurant for the first time since March 7. It was amazing. The food was delicious and I didn’t cook it. It was served on dishes I didn’t have to wash. The meal was spent with two lovely friends who I adore. We then attended a super exhibit at…
