When you are busy trying to analyze and grow in your professional life you are sometimes being overwhelmed with job career and that you may often forget to notice some interesting changes that have been taking place in your psychological well being! Did you ever feel that you have achieved a success but you don’t deserve it? Did you ever have this experience that achievement of mine is some random occurrence and I might not deserve it as much as it happened? Do you ever feel excessively anxious when you achieve something phenomenal as success? And feel that this might not last long enough and might crumble down? It is important for you to note that having this kind of an interesting tendency is called Imposter syndrome. It is very natural for most of us to feel modesty and humility for our success after a long struggle, and feel slightly worried of its permanency. But this might grow slowly in our mind taking away our confidence further. So it is always better to reverse these negative thought process at early stage

Imposter Syndrome vs Success!

Imposter syndrome often called as imposterism is a kind of thought process that involves particularly about not accepting one’s own success. In this interesting phenomenon ,often observed among the successful people like Sport-Stars, Artists, Business Leaders, Professionals. It is a slow developing state of mind that makes you feel that all the success that you have achieved would not be of your make. You may feel that you are not intelligent enough to deserve this phenomenal success that you have achieved and impermanence is felt in terms of losing this pedestal of success very soon.

Career issues from Imposter Syndrome

We all know very well how hard it is to achieve something in this competitive world .work or profession which has got a huge volume of competition scenarios make harder to enable achievements harder. We still achieve thought our dexterous process, work and many other forms. And of course we deserve that success very well but quite often the sense of impermanence in terms of the success creates a feeling of losing it soon which sometimes let’s way to this interesting phenomenon called imposter syndrome

Steps to avoid such low feelings after success:

While success itself is a very challenging phenomenon in this competitive world, it is equally important to retain that feel good factors within ourselves as they are the positive boosters to achieve further in our career. And often this kind of mentioned psychological phenomenon slowly grow as a strong feeling bringing our further achieving career down. So here are a few simple steps to be followed in order to avoid such negative feelings of success that might creep in

1. “No One is a Master of All “It is always important to realize this fundamental fact that no one is master in all areas of Work and so a sense of clear opinion like this can help us feel of acceptance that this happened success is your own .By accepting this feeling with a sense of confidence and Self Pride which gives us an emotional confidence.

2. Keep learning new stuff. Human mind is designed to respond to the things around, analyze them with a rational mind and create perceptive opinions on it. It is important for everyone to keep learning as this gives as a mode of self-evolution psychologically. As learning is largely progressive in nature it helps us kill any negative thoughts and self-depriving perspectives away from our mind during the points of our career success or failure.

3. Define yourself and your abilities well. The sense of self-acceptance is the important key to self-confidence. It is very very important for us to have a self-definition of our abilities, talent, and skill work experience expertise. This clearly defines our abilities a clear setting of our performance during a scenario. Self-definition mode of our success all tools ready in our psychological mind set to accept that success with full confidence and not feel that it is some chance occurrence

4. Accept success with full confidence. Quite interesting as it sounds, it is equally important to accept our success with full confidence just as much as it is required to accept failures with confidence. The sense of impermanence in terms of success or failure should not affect our broader sense of abilities and performance in terms of time .The thought consistency is the key to wonderful achievements.
