With two games left in the regular season, UNC Pembroke’s men’s basketball team currently ranks 5th in Division-II with an overall record of 19–7, including a 12–5 conference record.

The Braves are one of four Peach-Belt Conference teams to make the initial top-10 list of the Southeast Region.

The Braves have averaged 85.6 points per game this season, outscoring their opponents by an average of 8.2 points per game.

Redshirt junior, Nigel Grant, leads the Braves with an average of 15.0 points per game.

The team is in the mist of their best play all season with a five-game winning streak. They will look to enter the Peach Belt Conference Tournament next Friday on a good note.

The Braves travel to St. Augustine, Fla. this weekend as they prepare to take on Flagler tomorrow afternoon in their final road trip of the season. They will return home next Wednesday for senior night as they take on Francis Marion in the season finale.
