Tech Coaches For Teachers (Google Docs + HemingwayApp

In this article, it is shown that some schools across the nation are hiring tech coaches to help train their teachers to be up-to-date with current technological standards. This is due to a divide between school inclusion of new technology and the teachers knowledge on what they know technologically. The lesson I would teach would be to have students make a Venn diagram get into groups and ask each other what they know about technology. As they discuss it, they will put down all their thoughts and what they find similar between them on the diagram. Then, we hold an open class discussion with each group sharing their differences and similarities.

Misconceptions: Certain misconceptions may come from the idea that everyone should know everything about technology by now. This is not true along with the idea that all computers and tech are commonly compatible to a classroom.
