Remembering your dreams is the first step in dream journaling. Dreams can be ephemeral, slipping away upon waking. However, with practice and the right techniques, you can significantly improve your ability to remember your dreams. Here are some tips to enhance dream recall:

  • Consistent Sleep Schedule: Go to bed and wake up at the same time each day to regulate your sleep patterns and ensure that you are getting enough quality sleep. Dreams are most vivid and easier to recall during the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage of sleep, which becomes longer and more frequent as the night progresses.
