We just wrapped up our first online hackathon Indexing the New Economy in partnership with CoinList, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! We received nearly 200 registrations from all over the world, and we had a great time helping hackers on our Discord and running workshops throughout the hackathon.

We want to say thank you to all the participants and judges who helped make this hackathon a resounding success.

We called this hackathon Indexing The New Economy because this is the vision that drives us. We want to participate in an economy that’s open and allows anyone in the world to be recognized for their talents and skills and have access to global markets where they can get paid what they’re worth. We believe Web3 will enable peer-to-peer large scale coordination that is open and fair and that this future is right around the corner.

We were thoroughly impressed by the high standards of the projects. People built production-level APIs for interesting protocols. Below is a listing of the ten winners who each won $1,000 for their submission. Judging was based on the complexity of the subgraph and the usefulness of the data indexed. Clicking on the link will give you more details including links to their demo dApps, subgraphs on The Graph Explorer, and GitHub repos.
