We’re excited to announce that freelancers working on Gratify now have the option to immediately begin chatting with clients when new tasks arrive. Our application acts as a bridge between your teams — opening a new channel so you can chat in real-time to discuss a task before agreeing on a rate!

Select “Chat with Client” to start talking immediately

Freelancers have always been able to Ask a Question for the client to answer at their convenience. This is especially helpful if there are critical details missing from the client’s task description.

Chat with Client allows freelancers to dive into a full conversation and open a Slack channel with the client before agreeing on a rate. Freelancers should use this feature when task expectations are unclear. Gratify will remember your negotiations and agreements stated in the Slack channel with the client!
