Orange Mécanique gets an update

Orange Mécanique, my Macho Man disc just got its cassette updated, thanks for the good work of Steve at Switchback Cyclery.

It’s a Shimano Deore XT 10sp, 11–36 (was 12–28) to give me that extra help in the climbs. Yes, my next big trip will be in a mountainous country, more to come on that.

We also backordered Surly Knard 700x41c 120tpi… because fat.

With these tweaks, Orange Mécanique becomes more off road, which hopefully will make a bigger part of my training this “off” season.
