Xeenon Launches New Creator Revenue Sharing Model

Graviton is a company with a clear vision to evolve the creator economy into the Collab Economy, where creators and fans exist symbiotically within the same economic ecosystem. We are pleased to announce that we are laying the groundwork for this evolution using our Xeenon platform and our new Creator Revenue Sharing Model (CRSM), allowing creators to start earning from day one without relying on advertisements or fan payments.
Phase 1: Setting the Foundation
Graviton spent most of 2022 building out the front end of Xeenon, our integrated payment rails for the platform that allow for instant payments to creator, and most importantly for this conversation our bespoke backend integration into the Livepeer transcoding protocol.
We launched our Orchestrator in early 2022 and set the Fee Cut and Reward Cut to 5% and then went to work on building out our backend to integrate into Livepeer directly while keeping in mind the Front End so we could build features into the platform that we wanted and to provide our own unique experience to the creators and fans. We set the Orchestrator fees low to entice people to delegate with us and centralized our Broadcast cluster in New York City, both allowed us to get metrics on the return of the Livepeer ecosystem in a small set up while we built the Front End to integrate.
Phase 2: Launching the Creator Revenue Sharing Model
We are excited to launch Phase 2 of our roll-out, which will include our new Creator Revenue Sharing Model in two parts. Part 1 involves the deployment of a multi-region strategy for the Orchestrator, meaning we can take jobs from the entire Livepeer protocol on a global scale. This enables us to earn more $ETH cut across the entire Livepeer transcoding protocol, which is a vital component of our new Creator Revenue Sharing Model.
We are also introducing our Creator Revenue Sharing Model today, increasing our Fee Cut to 60% and our Reward Cut to 15% on our Orchestrator. We will share the total 60% Fee Cut with creators based on the total amount of time streamed. Initially, this will only be available to NFT Beta Tester holders for the first two weeks and will then be opened up platform-wide, enabling all streamers to earn for their time. Payouts will happen bi-weekly, and in the current architecture, we will be able to facilitate 250 concurrent streamers.
Part 2 will involve updating our Broadcast cluster for global distribution of video with lower latency and better stream quality, expanding our capacity to 10,000s concurrent streams, and updating the Creator Revenue Sharing Model mechanism with an algorithm based on the number of viewers and length of time viewed.
To expand the platform’s reach, we have also included a new 3rd party integration, Privy, which allows for sign-ins through Google, Twitter, Discord, email, or phone, making Xeenon accessible to creators worldwide and agnostic to WEB version world.
Phase 3: The Future
We are excited to reveal that Phase 3 is in development, and while we cannot yet divulge all of the details, we can promise that it will lower our costs and bring even more revenue to our creators.

Together, we can create a sustainable ecosystem that benefits creators, fans, and the Livepeer community as a whole.
