This week, Gravity’s CEO Johannes Ebert was featured on the Goodstart podcast by The Value Exchange (VX), where he talked about the potential of digital identity to improve service delivery for refugees, how we at Gravity are working to achieve this and our journey so far.
Talking about the challenges that refugees face when making the transition from their country of origin to refugee camps and further into the societies of the countries where they seek asylum, we discuss how decentralized identities could potentially be a breakthrough in ensuring that this transition is as frictionless and sustainable as possible. We also share the challenges involved in facilitating a widespread adoption of solutions like ours, due to problems of interoperability when dealing with fragmented identity ecosystems across borders and institutions.
