#WhatsYourEDGE

Today we’re proud to announce the beta launch of our flagship product — EDGE Mobile Analytics or “Essential Data Guidance Engine”- at the DC Economic Partnership’s house @ SXSW Sunday, March 13th.

Push It, Push it to the EDGE

After using multiple leading enterprise media monitoring services, we noticed a troublesome pattern. Bells and whistles aside, they all primarily rely on email for notifications about breaking news. Moreover, regardless of your chosen analytics platform, if you cancel, or need additional subscription based services (such as Politico Pro), you’re pretty much out of luck. Sure you could backup your mentions into a ghastly Excel file, but then what?

Maybe the next provider can rebuild your dashboards, maybe they can’t. All those email filters and distribution systems you had setup before? No longer effective.

Either way, it’s back to email alerts and hoping that you’re awake and filtering your email when that next story breaks. When that BIG story does hit at 2:00 AM, hopefully you only CC the right people, and not that reporter and / or the entire office. Good thing you’re also in a nice quiet place where you can make calls to wake up the key decision makers. Maybe you’ve managed to do all of this in 15–30 minutes? Great! That is unless the article in question was written in the future, or Europe, so you’re now a half-day behind. Hopefully the erroneous information hasn’t been picked up by the AP and syndicated globally…

! — OR — !

Push a few buttons, alert only the people on your team that matter and automatically schedule a conference call in 5 minutes or less. Can your media monitoring system do that? Or, as we like so say, #WhatsYourEDGE?

Unlike apps that to broadcast generic promos, EDGE only sends alerts that you determine to be useful, directly to those who need to know. This allows for immediate and seamless access to a suite of features for streamlined rapid-response via private in-app messaging. Check out EdgeMobileAnalytics.com for more bells & whistles.

EDGE 1.0

Our first public release demonstrates the capabilities of EDGE to track events on-demand, so naturally we chose to follow DCTech companies involved with SXSW. We’ve also put together a semi-exclusive list of non-conference parties to attend!

Finally, we’ve including a snapshot of how EDGE can be used to monitor comprehensive data about the 2016 presidential primaries. In the near future, we will be adding more integrations to display real-time data about election results combined with advertising spending, and more!

V1 is currently available for Android, live data will be activated Sunday: http://grayst.us/ZjE0t
iOS release: Pending the graciousness of our iTunes overlords (ETA Sunday :)

EDGE 2.0

We’re currently deploying customized instances of EDGE for clients. If you’re interested in joining the pilot program, for a limited time we’re offering discounted access to EDGE + Brandwatch, EDGE’s primary data provider.

Interested? We’ll be demonstrating EDGE at WeDC Startup Showcase at SXSW!

  • When: Sunday, March 13–3–5pm
  • Where: WeDC House (340 E 2nd Street, Austin, Texas)

Can’t make it to SXSW? Please complete the short survey below and we’ll be in touch to schedule a demonstration: http://goo.gl/forms/8AenWCyrZN
