In phenomenology, the concepts embodiment and lived body have been discussed in comprehensive manner.

Edmund Husserl shares two folds of our embodiment. One is lived and material subject; another fold is object of experience (Wehrle 2020).

Readings on Husserl’s embodiment reveal that the lived body is the center of experience.

This lived body, in Husserl’s embodiment, also play important contribution in how humans encounter other embodied agents in a shared space of a world (Halak 2016; Weber 2018, 54; Husserl 1913).

Husserl orients the concept Korpor i.e., the objective body or the body as object, and Leib, the lived body or body-as-subject (Gallagher 2014).

Jean-Paul Sartre opines that body is the psychic object par excellence- the only psychic object (Sartre 1995, 347; Moran 2016, 65).

On the other hand, Maurice Merleau-Ponty opines body as means of communication with the world and human subject is an embodied subject…
