Fargo, along with its twin city Moorhead, Minnesota, is a metro area with a population of nearly 250,000. It’s a major cultural center for eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. The city’s geography is defined by the Red River, with Fargo on the west side and Moorhead on the east. With numerous paths and parks on both sides of the river and over 100+ miles of recreational trails, there are good options for running in Fargo.
