How to start making your business greener

When I decided to make a ‘green furniture’, I didn’t know where to start. Heck, at that time I didn’t even know what green furniture is.

So what did I do first?

1. Tackle the easiest challenges first — As I had a lot of wood waste laying around, I attempted to make things like tables, stools and even doors using the waste I had.
2. Revise your vision — After a lot of studying & experimenting, I decided to put sustainability at the heart of the company by changing the vision of my company. Now every decision we make needs to align with our vision.
3. Map out the big picture — I mapped out all processes involved with the operations of the company. With this information, we identified ways to make each process greener.

As time goes by, I have become a little bit wiser in how I implement green practices across my business.
