Last month, APEC world leaders gathered and met virtually for the first time in our history.

In conjunction with APEC 2020 theme of Optimising Human Potential towards a Resilient Future of Shared Prosperity, APEC leaders have agreed to align their efforts along with the priorities of: Improving the Narrative of Trade and Investment; Inclusive Economic Participation through Digital Economy and Technology; and Driving Innovative Sustainability.

One of the declarations was ‘Driving Innovative and Inclusive Sustainability’. This will further cement sustainability as a vital component of development considerations for all APEC economies.

The Green Factory survey indicates that 81.9% are either influenced or somewhat influenced by sustainability when buying.

We now have the support from our top-levels as well as demand from the consumer. So, how can we get more businesses to adopt sustainability?
