Carry your own water bottle — save money and earth

“We are sitting on a plastic time bomb.” — That’s what the report submitted by the Central Pollution
Control Board report to the Indian Supreme Court said. Plastic bottles are scattered everywhere yet we are sleeping in ignorance. It’s high time we wake up and save the world in whichever way we can for the generations to come.

Have you ever seen some celebrities carrying their own water bottles? Well, they can afford bottles everywhere they go but they rather keep their own. Why?

 They can sip it every now and then to keep themselves hydrated.
 They are sure the water they are carrying is clean.
 They know the bottle they are carrying is of the material which will keep the water fresh and
uncontaminated.

When we can carry our big purses, why not the water bottles. It will be convenient for you as well as for the Earth. No point in saying no to plastic in big health drives or seminars if we are not implementing it in our daily lives. Heard of the saying little drops of water make a mighty ocean. If
you go out twice every week and buy 2 bottles, in the year you will save buying around 96 bottles and will also roughly save about 250 dollars. Why not invest that money in buying a copper, silver or steel water bottle which will last for few years.
