Many people enjoy traveling, they find it relaxing and sometimes they just want to escape the realities of life for a while. At Green Park Hotel Brugge we are convinced that traveling must be possible and pleasant for everyone so we have ensured that our hotel in Bruges is accessible. We want a hotel where everyone feels welcome, with whatever limitation they might have.

Improving accessibility with Mobility Mojo

Making a hotel accessible with handicap accessible hotel room requirements is not a job that is done quickly and to make sure that we are doing well, we have entered into a partnership with Mobility Mojo. This company makes an audit of the accessible facilities and gives the hotel a score. This score shows us our points of growth and what our strengths are. Curious about our score? Discover it right here.

Accessible Public Spaces in our hotel

Finding a hotel in Bruges when you are not 100% mobile is a difficult task. Most hotels in the center of Bruges do not have a parking nearby or when they have a parking it is very expensive. Green Park Hotel Brugge has a large parking lot that is free when you book on the official site. From the parking you can immediately see that we thought of the comfort for disabled people. Green Park Hotel Brugge has two spacious parking spaces that are reserved for people with disabilities. These parking spaces are right next to the hotel entrance. There is a wide entrance to the hotel and there is a clear signage to our rooms. The restaurant and bar in the hotel are very accessible and easy to reach.

Two accessible hotel rooms for disabled people in Bruges

During your stay in Bruges you can use one of our two accessible rooms. The two rooms are on the ground floor and have a lower bed. The coat racks in the rooms have been lowered so that you can easily hang your clothes. You can turn the lights on and off from your bed and the television’s remote control will also be within reach when you are in bed. Both rooms have a handicap accessible bathroom with lowered bathtub and mirror. There are handles in the bath and next to the toilet to get in and out of the bath or go to the toilet easily. Do you have an attendant? In the accessible rooms there is also the possibility to add an extra bed so that your attendant can sleep in a separate bed next to you.
