Welcome, Cohort 20!

Twice a year, Green River College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Development onboards a cohort of new students.

On Spring Advising Day, we welcomed Cohort 20 to the program via a two-hour advising workshop at the Auburn Center branch campus. The students in this cohort will begin taking bachelor’s-level courses in September 2024.

Twenty six students attended the workshop, which included activities around effective study habits and class planning, as well as an AMA-style Q&A with Software Development instructors and an overview of mentoring services offered by Mentors in Tech.

At Green River College, we’re helping create a new, more diverse generation of software developers to fill jobs right here in Seattle-Tacoma. At the heart of that mission? Students like this.
