What will the environment be like in the future?

This is surely a loaded question. No one can truly predict how the world will end up. However, for the sake of argument, we can agree that humans can take one of two main directions. Either the global population can begin to treat the Earth like the nonrenewable resource that it is, or we can look the other way and pass the increasing amount of environmental woes off to yet another generation, when it could potentially be too late.

Below Green Undegrads have created two possible futures that the world may see. What is really crazy, is that because of advanced medical technology, we may very well be able to live long enough to experience events similar to those shown in our projections. In these two interactive timelines, Green Undergrads explore the possibilities of both the potential environmentally conscious future, and the not so happy future.
