It’s true, I am now the first ever self-made billionaire courtesy of my dazzling talents and this fabulous site called Medium. You may not realize it, but all it takes is having one article go viral to make you unethically rich.
If you don’t get Jane Austen-level famous off the first article you publish, let’s face it, you probably just aren’t cut out for this line of work. For those of you who have yet to squander your one and only chance at stardom, here’s what I did.
After definitely not paying off 100 people to follow me so I could join the partner program, I took to the keyboard and did what all those other articles told me to do: write. I didn’t care about SEO, word count, or even quality. I was writing with only one thing on my mind. Cold. Hard. Cash.
