After 5 Million Hellos, It’s Time To Say GoodBye

GreetBot is shutting down on August 16th, 2022. [Update: Loop HQ acquires GreetBot to continue offering the service.]

  1. Starting today, May 16th, 2022, we will stop accepting new accounts.
  2. Billing will stop on July 12th, 2022.
  3. Until August 15th, 2022 you can continue using the service as usual.
  4. On August 16th, 2022 all accounts, along with the associated data, will be permanently deleted.
  5. If you are on an annual plan we will refund the remaining balance on your account.

GreetBot Plus & Enterprise

If you are a GreetBot Plus or Enterprise customer you can keep your subscription until August 15th, 2022. No action is required on your part. You will be able to continue using all paid features until that date as usual.

Backing up your data

If you’d like to make a copy of your configuration data please make sure you do so ahead of time. We’ve added download links to Message Schedule and Message Log so you can easily back up your data locally.

It’s been an enormously rewarding experience to have assisted you all in welcoming your new colleagues, collaborators, customers, and community members. Likewise, we hope GreetBot has helped you build more rewarding working relationships, in and outside of Slack. We want to thank you all for your feedback, support, and kind words on this journey.
