These celebrities are well known for their success in the spotlight but they’re not limiting themselves to one area. This is a list of the top ten celebrity entrepreneurs to look out for this year.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson — Teremana Tequila

Dwayne Johnson, Teremana Tequila

The Rock is a household name often associated with professional wrestling, football, and acting. However, Johnson also has such a successful business career that it has inspired a Harvard University case study. He created the hugely successful production company Seven Bucks Production, which creates multi-million dollar movies and TV series. In 2020, Johnson is entering a new frontier. After spending years on development and research, he is launching a tequila company called Teremana. He released Teremana, which means the spirit of the earth, slowly in March. He opted for a slow-release in light of COVID-19, but anticipates a faster launch as the pandemic wanes.

Tan France — Kingdom & State

Tan France is a member of the “Fab 5” from Netflix’s hit show Queer Eye. Taking on the role of fashion consultant in the show, he shares his expertise with viewers. However, his reach goes much wider than the show with his female clothing line Kingdom & State. He founded the company in 2011 in London but recently moved to the United States. Watch out for this company in 2020 as they become widely known on American soil with the help of Queer Eye’s celebrity influence!

Jaden and Will Smith — Just Water

Will Smith is an icon in American cinema; he has been prolific throughout his career with hits like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Bad Boys, and Men in Black. He also has acted alongside his son Jaden in movies such as The Pursuit of Happyness and After Earth. The father-son duo is a powerhouse outside of the acting world, as well, as they started an environmentally conscious bottled water company, Just Water, in 2015. They decided to stay anonymous until 2018, wanting the company to succeed on its own accord. Now that they’ve attached their name to the brand, one can only expect sales to increase in the coming years.

Reese Witherspoon — Hello Sunshine

Witherspoon became an A-list actress after starring in roles like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, but in addition to taking the screen by storm, she is likewise conquering the production world. Her production company, Hello Sunshine, has already produced hits like Wild, Little Fires Everywhere, Big Little Lies, and The Morning Show, all of which achieved great success. But the company has just as big of an agenda set for the coming years. Witherspoon is geared up for success in 2020 and beyond with plans to produce Legally Blonde 3, an adaptation of the book Daisy Jones & the Six, and many more projects.

Pop singer Rhianna created Fenty in 2017 as a beauty and luxury wear line; this has made her one of the most successful celebrity entrepreneurs; however, it’s the beauty section that has taken off. In 2020 and the coming years, she hopes to earn even more revenue from the brand as it focuses on its motto of “beauty for all” striving to make inclusive makeup and beauty products for every customer.

Gwyneth Paltrow — Goop

Gwyneth Paltrow, Goop

Paltrow founded Goop, a lifestyle brand, in 2008, so it’s not new but is taking on new challenges during COVID-19. Goop is offering a plentiful amount of resources to utilize during quarantine from food and recipes, to mental health resources. Keep an eye on Goop for the rest of 2020 and the rest of the quarantine!

Simon Cowell — Production

Ferrell has brought laughs into homes through his TV and movie presence for years, but he also has an online comedy/production site called Funny or Die. We can expect this site to grow in the coming years, especially with COVID-19, as people need a good laugh.

The company of his to watch in the coming months, though, is SpaceX, as it is recently partnered with NASA to launch astronauts into space to gather research for eventual adaptation and progression of space travel technology.
