Now I want you to picture this:

You’re in a vehicle with your boss and his driver, you’re heading to the site.
You’re the surveyor for the company, you’re traveling the distance to work.

“It’s a great land,” your boss had said that morning when you showed up at his office.

“I just got it from a private contractor, it seems the government had their eyes on it.

Biokpo, this one is huge!! We’ll eat well from this one I'm telling you, just you wait and see.”

His smile was broad. He gave you a pat at the back. You were excited. Should this land be as huge as he said you’d definitely eat. You had a buyer. Scratch that — you had buyers. The big boys association club you’ve been a part of in nearly over a decade actually has big boys, not noise makers or old takers (former rich boys). Selling lands had never been a problem, as long as the lands were premium, you had buyers. Gotta make sure this one was premium or at most find a hooker around it as bait.

“By 2pm,” your boss had said. It was almost 1 now.

You walk into your office, your desk feels distant. Unusually exhausted, you cover the distance and sink…
