Absolute Zero

zero degrees Kelvin
absolute zero
molecules frozen
atoms suspended in time
this is where my soul was put
to protect
both me and others
must be numb enough to function
work to do
business to run
checklists to check
warmth brings movement
movement brings emotion
emotion brings rage
rage begets eruption
Vesuvius would be proud
scamper peasants
while I destroy
unchecked anger feeds itself
unstopped, becomes thermal
searing heat of neutron fury
might just take out a couple of planets
better to keep frozen
let everyone else live
for now
