Neighborhood Ambassadors Social Distancing during Traffic Circle Cleanup!

After the smoke cleared this weekend, Neighborhood Ambassadors went out to check on our traffic circles! Not quite blanketed with leaves, the circles are full of irises and happy junipers!!

Looking around the University District, there are so many different types of plants in all of the beautiful circles. We want our neighbors’ help to improve our traffic circles; initially, what are the names of the many plants that exist in our circles? Check out the photos below.

In addition, what are the best plants and non-plant items to include in traffic circles? We tried to include some butterfly peddlers this year, with limited success.
