Raise your hand if…

  • You keep putting that thing off
  • You’re trying to implement a daily ritual or new habit
  • There’s something on your to-do list that you care about but keeps getting pushed aside

🙋🙋🙋

You might need a lil external accountability.

And there’s no shame in that! It’s hard to stay disciplined, and social support can help a lot in helping you reach your goals.

What’s Groove?

Groove’s free app enables you and your accountability group to hold on-demand accountability sessions.

The platform helps you break down your goals into manageable tasks while combating the isolation of working alone, one Groove at a time.

Here’s how to use Groove for your accountability group:

If you already have an accountability buddy or group:

Groove provides a space for you to actually work towards your goals, either together or with others in the community.

  1. Sign up at groove.ooo.

2. Download the mobile app (available for Apple and Android).

3. Finish creating your account.

4. Go to your share page.

5. Copy your invite link.

6. Share your invite link with your accountability group.

7. When someone from the group signs up with your invite link, we’ll let you know in the Groove app.

8. Start a group chat amongst your group.

9. Start a Groove in that chat. This starts a Private Groove, so that anyone from outside of the group can’t join.

10. Alternatively, you can start a public Groove from the home screen, and open up the Groove to other people.

If you need accountability buddies:

With the press of a button, you can find 1–3 other people to Groove with. You can either start or join a 50 minute session, on-demand.

Groovers are dreamers, doers, movers and shakers based all around the world. Many work for themselves or work from home.

  1. Join a Groove

With the press of a button you can start, join, or schedule a Groove. Others will quickly join you to get stuff done. You’ll get started with a short video check-in to say hi and share your goal for the session.

2. Dive into your work (off video)

The majority of the Groove is off video. Start conquering your to-do list and building better habits by breaking your goal into tasks. Cheer on your fellow Groovers in the chat.

3. Regroup

After you’ve flowed through your 50-minute Groove, you’ll quickly hop back on video to debrief, share your successes, and wrap up your day knowing you did your best. 🏆

We host around 900 Grooves a week, so you’re likely to find someone to Groove with within a few minutes!

Why Groove is great for accountability:

On-demand: No scheduling required

You can fit in a 50 minute session whenever and wherever you want, so no pesky calendar links are required.

If you are the type to schedule things out though, you can schedule a Groove in advance. Most Grooves happen on-demand though.

No need for Zoom

We’ve all felt that feeling of Zoom fatigue! Groove sessions happen directly in our app, and you’re only on video for a few minutes at the beginning and end of the session.

Most of the Groove is off video, so you can focus on what really matters — your goal.

Get sh*t done

Accountability groups and texts are great, but you also need to find time to work on your goal. Grooves help you actually do the work, while still connecting with others and getting that boost that comes from peer-to-peer support.

🕺 If you’re ready to get sh*t done the fun way cruise on over to groove.ooo.
