Grounded Solutions Members are starting the year off strong. At our inaugural Network Monthly Call in January, some highlights reported were:
- Champion member, Atlanta Land Trust, led a successful capital campaign for an upcoming 36 unit townhome development.
- North East Side Housing Initiative (NEHI), in Baltimore has 54 homes in their CLT pipeline as of the end of 2022.
- Interboro CLT in New York City secured funding from the Change Capital Fund to support their capacity to build out 11 projects for a total of 432 permanently affordable homeownership units for households earning between 50% and 100% AMI.
The Monthly Network Call series is designed to create space for members to connect with one another informally and share information and insights. In January, members discussed how the changes in local housing markets are creating new opportunities and challenges for first generation homebuyers. In February, members shared their tips, tactics, and experiences when advocating for favorable policies on the federal, state, and local levels. Now is the time to register for our next Monthly Network Call on March 22, where we’ll be focusing on your thoughts and ideas related to developing multi-family homeownership opportunities.
