Our members are a vast network of varied organizations and individuals who are each committed to increasing our collective Lasting Affordability impact. While our membership is diverse, what unites us all is a shared vision of equitable communities organized around the values of inclusion, stewardship, and self-determination — achieved by housing solutions with affordability that lasts for generations. Each of our members benefit from curated learning opportunities, a united voice for advocacy, access to our focused data and research based evidence of success, discounted trainings, events access, and prioritized access to our online help desk.
So far this year, our team has provided more than 50 hours of technical assistance to members via help desk — troubleshooting challenges with mortgage financing, advocating for more inclusive local policies, facilitating access to HOME program funding, and customizing the legal document templates needed by stewarding organizations to preserve affordability for generations.
Last year many of you asked us to provide more opportunities to meet virtually with one another and we heard you clearly. Our “Monthly Network Call Series,” is now the virtual conversation space for member connections, open dialogue, and collaboration on various topics.
- In March, our virtual conversation focused on multi-family homeownership with all things related to co-ops and condominiums.
- In April, members connected and shared their pain points around accessing federal funding for housing development and mortgage financing.
No matter if you might be seasoned veterans, having worked on these topics for decades, or if you are just beginning, all are welcome. Our goal is to create ways to build solidarity with opportunities to learn from one another — that way no one has to reinvent the wheel from scratch. We are stronger together!
