The Final Stretch

This week involved much reflection and wrapping up any loose ends with our timespan in mind. In our last critique session, we asked for feedback on how we should deal with our skewed success metrics and undependable quantitative data (as mentioned in our previous blog post). We were reminded of the value our qualitative data could bring as well, and that despite our numbers and percentages, what really matters is what the users say, feel, and do.

Beyond that, we weren’t able to test any more due to the nature of our relationship with the Learning Spaces Program at Geisel. Because of scheduling, we will meet Kymberly Goodson (the director of the Learning Space Program) the day after our class presentation. We will use the meeting to share our insights and user research with her, as well as hear her future plans for the space.

Back when this entire process started, I remember my group agreeing that as long as we had a list of suggestions we could pass on to someone influential, then that would be a personal win for us. I’m proud to say that my group accomplished that, and we hope that our interaction with Kymberly will continue to inspire actual change around campus.

With that, we’d like to thank Thomas and Lizzy for this unique opportunity and experience!

Collaborate on, my friends~
