Joystick Support Added to GroupRoom

Who says work can’t be fun? With GroupRoom’s new joystick controls, moving around your new hybrid workplace feels like a video game!

We may be the first company to literally “gamify” work :)

Mobile users (phones and tablets) now see a virtual joystick added to the top left corner of the screen. You can touch and move it around just like a real joystick to move your video chat avatar around the digital floor plan to chat with colleagues nearby. Here’s a video demo of the mobile virtual joystick in action!

Why limit fun at work to only mobile users? We added gamepad support to GroupRoom too allowing you to move around our spatially-aware video chat hybrid workplace with a joystick connected to your laptop or desktop!

The best part is that any USB powered joystick or gamepad should work for laptop and desktop users. Here’s the one I was using in the video demo.
