July 2 — improved string LST grid + instructable
Today I prototyped an improve string low stress training grid with my friend Michael, who taught me some bomb Inkscape tips for making laser cut files! Here is the Instructable:

The first time, we added extra notches for winding the string, but then I realized later that I didn’t need those (and it made the ring more fragile) so I redid it.

I also did a heat test to see how hot the heat shield got. With an ambient temp of 21–23 degrees Celsius, it got up to 28 degrees C. If the lightbulb was physically touching the heat shield, then it got up to 32 degrees.
Lastly I bought some extra seeds in case the blue dream I’m growing now turns out to be male and won’t bear any buds.
