How To Update Your Payout Method
We are excited that you got involved in changing the African narrative. You sponsored farmers to grow more crops and now the harvest has been traded. Your money has worked for you and it is time to enjoy the benefit, it is time to get paid 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳 🥳.
To receive your money, we will pay you through your select payment channel. In order to receive your payments on time kindly ensure you have selected your preferred payment channel.
If you have already chosen your preferred payment channel, please ignore this step. However, if you need to select a new channel, then, follow the steps below:
- Log into your account on www.growforme.com
- Visit Finances > Payout Method >Select settlement/Payout method.
- Fill in your payment details and update.
There are four (4) methods of payouts with different charges and costs. These costs are regularly updated depending on financial market charges for transferring money.
- Virtual Cards (International) cost $ 0.50 to fund,
What is a virtual card? It’s a regular debit card just like the debit (or ATM ) card you currently have in your purse or wallet. It works the same way. You have a 14 digit number on the card, a CVV, and expiry date. You can use it for online payments, on websites at stations, etc. The only limitation to the virtual card is that it can’t be used at the ATM because you do not have a physical card. That said, you can use it on mobile money apps that allow you to transfer money from the virtual card to your bank account. For example Monzo in UK, ExpressPay in Ghana etc.
2. Mobile Money (Ghana) cost 1% to fund,
Mobile Money ( or MoMo for short) is a mobile wallet payment system popular in Africa. It allows users to receive funds into their phones via a SIM running on a GSM network. Charges are about 1% and readily available to cash out from your wallet anytime
3. Bank Transfer (International) cost $ 40 to pay back:
Payments are done directly into your bank account from our accounts through bank transfers. This takes about one day to two weeks to reflect. It doesn’t matter where your bank is located, we are able to transfer the funds to that account. It’s important that you complete all the fields in the form to prevent delays.
4. Bank Transfer (In-country, eg. Ghana) costs GHS 25 to pay back.
This refers to Ghanaian bank accounts. Payments are done directly into your bank account through local bank transfers. This takes about two to five days to reflect.
If you have any challenges with updating your payment method, kindly reach out to payout@growforme.com.
