HARVEST UPDATE 2022

We gladly come your way once again to update you on your sponsored farm.

Harvesting of some soybean farms began on 25th of November 2022. Soybean fields were left to reach full maturity before harvesting, this ensures that grain quality is not affected.

A number of farms have been harvested and threshed. The role of women in the final production stage is very important.

A large number of women farm hands carrying soybean to the threshing floor.

Farmers who are not able to afford threshers employ the services of women to do manual threshing.

Recovering soybean from farmers has already started. Recovered grains will be dried, cleaned, and finally bagged at a moisture content of 10% by women at the warehouse.

The farm operations team together with the zonal coordinators are working tirelessly to ensure recovery of all bags due GrowForMe before selling to off-takers.
