Teamup App Tutorial: How to Create an Account

Teamup is a calendar scheduling application that you can use to create and share your calendar with your clients.

Checking out the app is easy to do with the free version (which is the focus of this tutorial), but there are many more features that you can explore with the paid versions.

A Quick Note About Teamup’s Paid Versions

First, a quick note about some of the key features that the paid versions offer…

There are 5 different pricing tiers. Some of the key features are limited when it comes to the free version:

Teamup Subscription Plan Tiers (as of April 2024)

If any of the following features spark your interest, consider testing out one of the paid versions of the app:

Number of Users / Number of Sub-Calendars

If you plan to create more than 8 sub-calendars, or plan to share your account with more than 8 users, then you’ll want to upgrade to a paid plan!

File Sizes / Total File Storage

If you plan to add attachments (like workout videos, excel documents, etc), then depending on your storage requirements, you’ll want one of the paid versions if 500 MB total storage / 10 MB max file size is too small for you:

Historical Data

If you’re interested in storing more than a year of historical data, you can store up to 15 years of historical data with the most inclusive plan (Enterprise):

Inbound iCal Feed Refresh Rate

If you need a faster refresh rate than 12 hours on your inbound iCalendar feeds, then you’ll need to upgrade to one of their paid plans:

Create an Account with Teamup

To create a simple calendar with Teamup, navigate to Teamup’s Create a Calendar page and add your information:

You’ll then be prompted to check your email to access your new calendar:

After you follow the link sent to your email, you’ll be prompted to create a name & a password for your account:

After you create your account, you will see your new calendar!

Next Steps

Create Events

Click anywhere on your calendar, and you can create an event:

Share Your Calendar

Go into your calendar settings, and you will find the sharing options for your calendar:

You can add additional users (up to 8 on the free version), create groups of your users (to share user permissions), and create links to view your calendar without having an account.
