“Kudos” for making us a launch partner, Microsoft!
Way back in November, we announced that we were building a new version of Growbot that would work in Microsoft Teams, and that day has now arrived!
To give kudos to someone on your Teams, just follow this simple formula:
- Mention Growbot (so we can hear you!).
- Use the “kudos” or “props” keyword.
- Select the user (or users!) you want to recognize by using autocomplete.
- Let people know what awesome thing they did! 🎉
We’ve also created a new command especially for Teams, called leaderboard. This will pull up a public response from Growbot that shows the Top 10 kudos receivers for the month to date. All scores refresh at the beginning of a new month! And if you get stuck, go ask Growbot for help in a private chat.

We’re working day and night (literally, Nick is in Australia!) to bring more enhancements to Teams, which we’re pretty excited about 😄
If you’re a Microsoft Office 365 user, let your admins know you want to start using Teams today. Then, add Growbot by going to Search > Discover bots, or @mention in a channel to add a bot!
