There is something to be said about the connection amongst friends when doing even the simplest of activities. Driving around, hands out the window, music up just a little too loud, singing all the words to songs we won’t remember a month from now. Taking that time to think about all the different and random memories made in this hometown. We drove by QuickTrip. How many times have we stopped there before in need of something sweet, or early morning sports games when we would still be half asleep. It takes a certain type of maturity to take a step back and appreciate the small details in life, because we all know that sooner rather than later we’ll all be off to college, some father than others, and these late night car rides will be a thing of the past. No matter how small or boring hometowns may be, take advantage of the time you have left in them.
