the other night we hosted a few of our New York friends, bloggers, photographers + press for an intimate dinner in Williamsburg. It was only fitting that we hosted the event at one of Brooklyn’s leading co-working + food incubation spaces, Brooklyn FoodWorks, which has been responsible for supporting and launching several successful businesses such as Zesty Z + Jalapa Jar.

Our Culinary Director, David Katz, constructed a well-rounded, mouth-watering menu exclusively for the event that presented the flavors + cooking style honeygrow offers in each restaurant…

  • our Make It Grain salad — orange sherry vinaigrette, wheat berries, red quinoa, organic arugula, grapes, roasted carrots, feta, roasted cashews
  • Shanghai-style noodles with sea urchin sauce, slow cooked cherry tomato, scallion, secret spice (we’re still having dreams about these noodles)
  • wide noodles with red miso sauce, pork shoulder, buttered corn, fried shallots
  • organic vanilla yogurt with caramelized bananas, chocolate tahini, orange blossom honey, toasted sesame

Naturally, we had some local suds on-site, courtesy of our Red Hook friends Sixpoint Brewing, to help wash everything down.

Excited to experience our flavors yourself? The wait is almost over…

our first Brooklyn location is set to open in Brooklyn Heights (194 Joralemon St) on Monday, April 3rd at 11AM!
