Do you have some words of wisdom, cautionary tales, and lessons to share?

If so, please consider joining GFC — Grown Folk Conversations as a writer or editor.

What’s unique about GFC? Well — is it’s for Grown Folks — by Grown Folks — meaning writers over 40. While this is our target demographic and preference, we don’t discriminate.

However, we’re looking for experienced writers with stories and essays that are 500–1200 words:

• Compelling, well-written and researched, properly cited, nuanced, original, unpublished work that meets Medium’s format, submission, and curation (distribution) guidelines
• Present a problem- but offer solutions and a call to action.
• Focus on all aspects and intersections of life, love, and everything in between for people 40+
