Students and a building in Yabatech, a polytechnic in Lagos, Nigeria

We want to help Nigerians hack their way to growth, by helping them get that dream job, build that awesome product, grow their side hustle, scale their main business or excel in their current career and climb the corporate ladder.

How?

By using mental model workshops like:

  • Design Thinking
  • User Thinking
  • Market Thinking
  • Business Model Thinking
  • Agile Project Thinking

You’ll pick up new abilities, mindsets and methods on how to design, experiment, develop, build, rebuild and hack your way to growth.

We’ll work with you to build a solution that solves a local issue like a lack of access to cheaper food, clean water, dirty environs, bad roads or expensive housing. And help you make this profitable. And as you build this, you:

  • Create your work portfolio for that dream job
  • Create a product that will grow into a profitable business
  • Learn new management skills

Some of the skills you’ll learn include:

  • People Management
  • Program Management
  • Product Management
  • Project Management

Program Details

  • Continuous learning (not cohort-based)
  • Hand held and personalised to the learner
  • Active learning in real world projects
  • Opportunity to co-own a product/business
  • Bias to activity: members lose access and accrued learnings and benefits once they become inactive
  • Free: but you pay with your time and the work you put in with respect to the tasks you get

We will also need you to support the community in any way you can, either through completing tasks or donations that keep the community running. These donations do not have to be monetary.

If you want to learn more about how the learning happens in Growth Clinic, you can read this: How learning happens in Growth Clinic.

We will reach out to you whether your application is successful or not.
