One benefit for a businesses is that employees are more than likely to already be on these platforms for their personal use. There is no need for them to learn the new system. It is already used for recreational activities and easily accessible.

You can look at their posts, like, and comment; however, more likely than not, you will not receive a response. Whereas with a small business, the account is closely managed and direct messages are likely to be heard. This is an easy way to attract people to your company. All you need to do is engage.

Along the same thread of being engaging, the best way to attract people to your page is to draw them in. BE EXCITING.

Post eye-catching images, not ones that require too much attention, because social media is often a mindless experience. The best way to get people to your page is to take an average image and make it into something that people cannot aimlessly pass. It is not frowned upon to stretch the image. Social media is about being alluring. Your conversation with the customer is where you must strive to be professionally authentic.
