Always be mindful on your first step…

2- Who sponsors this team? Is there any alignment with the sponsor in terms of the outcomes you gonna deliver?

3- Is the team fully cross functional? Are you capable enough to deliver the outcome with the team members itself?

4- Is there any dependency toward other teams or externals? Do you have any alignment to get their on demand support?

5- What is the dedication level of the team members? Is it committed?

6- Are you gonna work in a co-located way?

7- Who is the PO of the team? Is (s)he fully

  • capable of delivering a backlog
  • empowered to decide what and when to be delivered
  • managing the backlog
  • managing the stakeholders communication and expectation
  • dedicated

8- Who is your customer? Are you able to provide the feedbacks from customer?

9- How frequent do you plan to deliver something as an outcome?

10- What is your agile knowledge level? Are you ready to invest time and effort to learn the theory?

And finally do you have a coach who will ask you the right questions to keep you on the agility track?
