In my past work experience, I have accumulated a total of seven years of professional experience. I initially worked for three years at Asus Technology, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in the technology industry. Following that, I spent four years working in various Pharmaceutical companies, where I further expanded my expertise in the healthcare sector. These experiences provided me with a diverse range of skills and insights into different industries.
2. What made you switch from that job to being VA at Growup? How did you cope with the transition?
The decision to transition from my previous job to becoming a virtual assistant at Growup was primarily driven by personal commitments. I needed a job that offered flexibility and remote work opportunities. After exploring various options, I found Growup and realized it was a perfect fit for me. The transition was challenging at first, as I had to adapt to a new working environment and develop a different set of skills. However, I coped with the transition by remaining open-minded, embracing the learning process, and focusing on the positive aspects of remote work.

A typical workday for me begins with planning and organizing my tasks in advance. I prioritize my responsibilities and work diligently to accomplish them. This structure helps me stay focused and productive throughout the day, ensuring that I meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
5. What are the new skill sets acquired as a VA? What is the learning curve in virtual work?
As a virtual assistant, I have acquired various new skill sets, especially in using virtual tools and technologies. During my training and deployment at Growup, I have learned how to effectively utilize these tools to enhance productivity and collaboration. The learning curve in virtual work is continuous, and I am constantly exposed to new tools and techniques, allowing me to constantly expand my skill set.
6. What is one thing about what you do that makes you excited to get up tomorrow and do it again?
What excites me the most about my work is the opportunity to balance my career and family simultaneously. Being able to work remotely gives me the flexibility to be there for my family while pursuing my professional goals. It is the perfect combination that I have always desired, and it motivates me to get up each day and give my best to my work.

My family has been incredibly supportive and understanding throughout my virtual work journey. They are happy that I can be around them, especially for my child. Their support has made it easier for me to manage my work-life balance and has created a positive environment for my career growth.
8. What prospects are you looking forward to in your career?
In terms of prospects for my career, I am eager to become a hardcore data analyst and learn various new business intelligence (BI) tools. Data analysis has always fascinated me, and I believe it is a field with tremendous growth potential. By acquiring advanced skills in this area, I aim to further expand my career opportunities and contribute meaningfully to data-driven decision-making processes.
9. What else do you want someone to know about working virtually?
Working virtually has been a transformative experience for me, and I believe it offers numerous benefits. One important aspect is the elimination of time wasted in commuting. Being able to work from the comfort of my own space allows me to utilize my time more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, virtual work provides flexibility, increased autonomy, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams regardless of geographical boundaries. It is an empowering way to work that has the potential to enhance productivity and work-life balance.
