Storing and using personal biometrics with the users consent seams to be reasonably ethical. I think so because the user is aware of his information being used. I do believe that will all this information being stored, could one day be misused and really affect all the users depending on how that data will be used.

I do believe that it could be ethical to allow the government to use our biometrics to assist with national security. They would be able to detect any slight confusion in data and able to prevent a problem from occurring. With all that data comes great responsibility, the ones who are in charge need to consider that peoples information can not get out of their hands because then all the data could be manipulated and used against us.

Thinking of it from a different prospective, it does sound a bit invasive of ones privacy. Knowing that there are people constantly recording your data and examining it to make sure everything is in check. It really makes you think about what does the government really know about me and how much!?
