We don’t say GOODBYE

We’ve been together since forever

Through thick and thin

Through high and low

Through the storm and breeze

………………………………..

We could have grown together

We could have evolved together

Our surrenders could have yielded in abundance

Giving ourselves to each other could have been like a seed planted

For a planted seed yields herself to the soil as we did

And the seed gives herself to death with the soil as we did

The seed reaps in abundance as a reward for yielding

…………………………………………………………..

WE DID NOT

……………………………………………………………

We never grew, now it’s only wise to look forward

We were stagnant, now it’s only safe to ever never look back

We remained kids, now it’s for the better to forgo a second chance

………………………………………………………………………….

I choose to forget how we looked at the stars

I choose to forget how we looked into each other’s eyes

I choose to forget the kisses, the dances and would destroy all our love notes

I choose to forget all our memories together

I hope you’ll evolve too, my love.
