Exams, Summer and GSOC’18 Communinty bonding.
Finally, the wait is over and I have been selected as the Student developer at GSOC’18 for organization Software and Computational Systems Lab at LMU Munich.
You can view my proposal here: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/projects/#4562331867021312
I will be working on the Angukarjs reports for CPAchecker Software.
CPAchecker ( website )
CPAchecker is an award-winning open-source framework for the verification of software. It is written in Java and based on a highly modular architecture that allows to develop and combine a wide range of different analyses. CPAchecker is used for verification of the Linux kernel and has helped to find more than 50 bugs in the kernel.
There were my exams going on along with the community bonding period of GSOC. I had very little time to invest and then my Mentor Philipp Wender, and I had a video call one day for discussion. He explained me the structure, details, documentation and helped me in setting up and deployment of the project. We had a formal and informal talk for about an hour. Philipp is very cool and kind mentor as I know him from Student Application period of GSOC’18.
I will be working from home for GSOC’18 this summer and this is an exciting opportunity for me to stay at home :D. While the summer this time is really really hot (I mean 45°C in May at Nagpur!), it is going to be interesting!
Stay tuned for more updates!
